An early Halloween celebration is bringing the St. Cloud community together with costumes, hayrides and an outdoor movie.

St. Cloud Park and Recreation invites children ages 12 and younger to gather at Lake George for a Spooktacular Event called Pumpkinfest.

Children are encouraged to dress up in costumes and enjoy the Halloween festivities. Pumpkinfest will feature trick-or-treating stations, pumpkin painting, and a petting zoo. A special, outdoor presentation of Disney Pixar’s Monsters University will begin at dusk.

Pumpkinfest will take place from 4-7 p.m. Friday, October 16 at Lake George.
