Archived: Spring Break Service Trip Applications Are Being Accepted For SCSU Students
For more than 20 years, Husky students have had the opportunity to work on a spring break service trip to Lame Deer, Montana.
The St. Cloud State University Department of Campus Involvement says they’re now accepting applications for upcoming spring break 2017.
The mission is 8 days long, in which students and 2 staff members drive to Montana, stay in cabins and dorms along the way, and serve at the Boys & Girls Club in Lame Deer. SCSU partners with the Northern Cheyenne Nation to volunteer for projects the tribe is working on.
This is an adventure for students to engage in a multicultural world, serve and reflect together.
The application deadline is Feb. 1, 2017. To be accepted, students must be enrolled in spring classes, be in good academic standing, and pass a criminal background check that’s required by the Boys & Girls Club.
Apply online at the Department of Campus Involvement’s website.
