A St. Cloud woman is recovering after she was struck by a car while biking.

St. Cloud Police Sergeant Jason Burke says officers were called to the 2000 block of 7th Street North around 9:30 a.m. Sunday morning to respond to a report of a car hitting a pedestrian.

Police say 51-year-old Lucinda Ellen Hudson of St. Cloud was riding her bike westbound on 7th Street North when she was struck by a car driven by 23-year-old Kyle Michael Mareck also of St. Cloud.

Hudson was taken to the St. Cloud Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Burke says Mareck was cited for failing to defrost his windshield.
