The St. Cloud City Council will meet tonight to discuss a liquor license for St. Cloud State University and other events in the area.

Tonight’s meeting will begin with the pledge of allegiance and a moment of silence for our troops.

Then, the council is scheduled to introduce and adopt a wine and 3.2 percent malt liquor license for SCSU. Also on the agenda is the approval of a city noise ordinance exemption request for construction to the south water tower. An approval of the request will allow crews to work at night and on weekends.

The council meets at 6 p.m. in the council chambers at city hall.
