Archived: St. Cloud City Council Meets Monday To Discuss Noise Ordinance Exemptions For Events Around Town

The St. Cloud City Council is meeting next week to declare a day for National Night Out around town.

The city says the council meeting will begin with the pledge of allegiance and a moment of silence for those serving in the armed forces.

Then, special recognition will be given to a proclamation declaring Tuesday, August 2, as National Night Out in the City of St. Cloud.

Also on the agenda, the council will review an application from Leighton Broadcasting to be exempt from the city’s noise ordinance during CiderFest. The event takes place in late August at Dick Putz Field.

A change is being made to the River’s Edge West Parking Ramp project, and the council is scheduled to approve it so construction can continue.

The meeting takes place Monday at 6 p.m. in the city council chambers.
