The St. Cloud City Council will meet Monday to discuss a Fourth of July celebration and other events on the agenda.

At the start of the meeting, the council will recite the pledge of allegiance and share a moment of silence for our troops serving in the Armed Forces. Then, the council will give special thanks to the city for hosting the Minnesota Senior Games.

On the agenda, the council will review an application from the St. Cloud Fireworks Committee for a temporary on-sale intoxicating liquor license. If approved, liquor sales will be available in Wilson Park on the Fourth of July.

The meeting will take place Monday at 6 p.m. in the city council chambers. It is open to the public.
