St. Cloud residents are invited to attend a joint community garden celebration Saturday, August 15 at Maine Prairie Garden.

The Central Minnesota Sustainability Project and St. Cloud Unitarian Universalist Fellowship (UUF) will host the event. A member of the Tri-County Beekeepers Association will speak about bees at 11:30 a.m. Local environmentalist John Peck will give a speech on organic gardening in the UUF Garden at 12:30 p.m.

The event will take place in Diocese Park on Maine Prairie Road in St. Cloud. It will start at 11 a.m. and end around 12:30 p.m.
