St. Cloud drivers can expect extra traffic congestion Thursday during St. Cloud State University’s resident hall move-in day.

St. Cloud Police Commander Jeff Oxton says the affected driving areas stretch from downtown 10th and 9th Avenues South to University Drive. A temporary four-way stop will be posted at the intersection of 9th Avenue and 4th Street South.

Oxton encourages folks who are not taking part in move-in to seek new routes from 6 a.m.-4 p.m.
