A St. Cloud man is facing burglary and assault charges after allegedly threatening a man with a knife.

Shortly before 7 p.m. Tuesday police were called to the 1900 block of Pine Cone Road near County Road 120 in Sartell in connection to a knife complaint.

According to St. Cloud Police, 27-year-old Justin Anthony Johnson of St. Cloud  was spotted walking on the roof of a nearby church, where he allegedly threatened the 42-year-old man who saw him with a knife. The witness followed Johnson and saw him enter a garage of a home in the 1700 block of Timberdoodle Drive.

Johnson did not leave the house which was occupied at the time. Johnson was arrested and taken to Stearns County Jail after a short foot chase. He has pending charges of 1st degree burglary, 2nd degree assault and fleeing police on foot. No injuries were reported.
