Archived: St. Cloud Man Arrested After Allegedly Putting Finger In Young Girl’s Mouth
A 66-year-old St. Cloud man was arrested late Friday morning after allegedly shoving his finger inside a 3-year-old girl’s mouth at the Great River Regional Library.
St. Cloud Police Sergeant Jason Burke says Lawrence Dale Danzl also asked the young girl to come home with him. Danzl is currently facing charges of disorderly conduct and indecent exposure.
According to police dispatch communications a library staff member called in the complaint after Danzl offered two other young children a dollar if they came home with him.
Police officers have learned that Danzl may have done this in the past, with other incidents that went unreported. Authorities say one of the incidents in question may have taken place on a city bus.
The police department has requested that anyone with information on this or other incidents contact them immediately.
