Archived: St. Cloud Man Arrested On Alleged Charges of 2nd Degree Assault And Terroristic Threats

A St. Cloud man was arrested on charges of probable 2nd degree assault and terroristic threats.

Stearns County Sheriff John Sanner says deputies responded to a report of an assault with a knife at 222nd Street East in Lynden Township at 11 p.m. Sunday. Deputies learned 36-year-old Luke John Emslander stabbed a female in her arm.

Emslander had also threatened the victim with a BB gun in the basement of the residence. Deputies arrested Emslander and took him to the Stearns County Jail.

He is facing charges of probable cause 2nd degree assault, Terroristic threats, and 5th degree Domestic Assault.

The victim suffered minor injuries, but refused to be treated. No other injuries were reported.
