A St. Cloud man was arrested on charges of aggravated robbery and 2nd degree assault in the south side of the city Friday night.

St. Cloud Police Sergeant Jason Burke says officers received a report of robbery at Super America at the 600 block of Highway 10 at about 10 p.m. They learned that two armed suspects robbed some merchandise from the store.

Officers found one of the suspects, 18-year-old Jacob Bennet Swanstrom, at about midnight in the 500 block of 15th Avenue South East. Swanstrom was taken into custody and is being held at the Benton County Jail.

The case is under active investigation.
