A man reported being robbed and beaten in his home Saturday night in St. Cloud.  Police were called at 9:30 p.m. on August 30.

St. Cloud Police Sergeant Jason Burke says a 58-year-old man told police he had been beaten with a cane and robbed at his home on the 700 block of 7th Avenue North. The victim says the assailant took money from him.

Antoine Dajuan Fair

Burke adds the suspect, 19-year-old Antoine Dajuan Fair, was taken into custody the next day after being spotted during a traffic stop at 8th Street and 28th Avenue North.

Fair is being held at the Stearns County Jail and facing charges of 2nd degree assault and aggravated robbery.
