Two men were arrested after robbing a St. Cloud man on the 400 block of 8th Avenue North early Friday morning.

 

St. Cloud Assistant Chief Jeff Oxton says police reported to a call of a robbery about 2:18 a.m. Friday morning. After arriving to the scene officers determined that a 30-year-old St. Cloud man was walking on the sidewalk before he was attacked by two unidentified men who tried to steal his phone and wallet. The suspects fled on foot.

 

Officers checked the surrounding area and would find 22-year-old Nathaniel Spears of St. Cloud and 21-year-old Cory Michael Dudley of Princeton. The victim would identify both men as the perpetrators.

 

Spears and Dudley were both charged with robbery and taken to Stearns County Jail. The victim suffered minor injuries that did not require medical attention.
