The St. Cloud Police Department is investigating a shooting incident that happened Wednesday night near Summertime by George event at 7th Street South and 9th Avenue South.

Sergeant Jason Burke says during a verbal argument, an unknown suspect fired multiple shots into the ground and fled the scene.

Lieutenant Jeff Oxton adds as a result of the investigation, a person of interest has been developed and information continues to be processed.

No injuries have been reported, and one vehicle was damaged during the incident. Summertime by George continued with interruption.
