St. Cloud State University has received the Military-Friendly Award for the sixth consecutive year.

Victory Media awards the designation to the top 15 percent of schools in the country that are doing the most to embrace military students and dedicate resources to ensure their success in the classroom and after graduation.

St. Cloud State’s Veterans Resource Center has many events planned throughout October which has been deemed Veterans Voices Month. The organization says these events are planned to improve the understanding of veterans around campus as well as honor those who have lost their lives.

The first event is a Student Veteran Panel and documentary showing – “Restrepo”- on Wednesday, October 15^th in the Atwood Theatre. For more information on the other events throughout Veterans Voice Month you can visit the Veterans Resource Center’s website.
