St. Cloud State University’s Department of Mass Communications held their annual First Amendment Forum on April 24.

New sources and members of media discussed the challenges and impact of covering protests, rallies, marches and walkouts. News director, Mohammad Najafian, sat down with Abdulahi Kolani to see what the importance of this conference is from his point of view. Kolani is a Somali who came to the United States in 2006.
