The Theatre Department of St. Cloud State University opens its season with “Wives, Goddesses and Slaves Where R My Batches and Cookies?” for five continuous days starting Tuesday.

Director Vladmir Rovinsky, a St. Cloud State professor, says his cast of 12 actors and actresses use clowns and improvisation to discover ancient Greek stereotypes. The shows feature challenging subject matter including relationships between men as well as women, themes like rape, domestic abuse and mass shootings.

All events will be at the SCSU Performing Arts Center Arena Stage. Tickets are $10 for adults, $7 for students and seniors or free for students at SCSU.
