St. Cloud State University has postponed Monday’s event to honor WWII Veteran Virgil Gruenke.

The Interim Director of the Veteran Resource Center Zac Mangus says the event was supposed to allow attendees the chance to listen to stories told by the president of the student organization, followed by a biography on Gruenke’s life. The event would have started with a thank you photo opportunity at Atwood Center.

The event will happen on Wednesday at noon at Atwood Memorial Center.
