St. Cloud State University is honoring its director of Human Resources.

Vice President for Finance and Administration, Tammy McGee, says Dr. Holly Schoenherr has been named as the director of human resources for the Pinellas County Unified Personnel System in Clearwater in Florida.

Dr. Schoenherr joined SCSU in 2012 and reorganized the human resources area with a focus on service and training opportunities for employees. She has used innovative practices like the Great Places to Work Survey to identify ways to improve employee satisfaction.

She will be remaining in her position till June 30th. Vice President Wanda Overland will be a temporary replacement while the school is searching for a new qualified applicant.
