Archived: St. Cloud Woman Arrested After Threatening Someone At Gunpoint
A St. Cloud woman was arrested after threatening another woman with a gun near Lake George Wednesday evening.
St. Cloud Police Sergeant Jason Burke says 54-year-old Retha Diane Shavers of St. Cloud got into a verbal argument with 56-year-old Cheryl Lajoyce Williams. Shavers would leave and later return pointing a gun at Williams.
Police would find Shavers during a traffic stop on 6th Street South and take her into custody. Shavers is currently facing charges of 2nd degree assault. No injuries were reported during the incident and police recovered a .22 caliber handgun during the traffic stop.
