A St. Cloud woman was arrested for allegedly selling marijuana on the south side of St. Cloud on Wednesday.

The Central Minnesota Violent Offender Task Force apprehended 37-year-old Tuanita Jones after undercover drug buys. On several occasions they were able to purchase marijuana at 3501 8th Street North from Jones.  That led the task force to get a search warrant in which they discovered more marijuana at the apartment where the she lives.

Jones is facing charges of 5th degree sale of a controlled substance. She was taken to the Stearns County Jail where she was booked and released. At the time of her arrest, two children were present and were taken to a relative residing in the nearby area.

The St. Cloud Police Department patrol unit assisted the task force in the arrest.
