A St. Cloud woman was taken to the hospital after a two-car accident on the north side of St. Cloud Saturday morning.

St. Cloud Police Commander Jeff Oxton says officers responded to a report of a crash at the intersection of 8th Street North and 25th Avenue North. A sedan driven by 56-year-old Paul Lloyd from St. Cloud was heading eastbound in the 2500 block of 8th Street North in the outside lane. Another sedan driven by 60-year-old Wallace Jon Abel of St. Cloud was travelling southbound on 25th Avenue and was going through the intersection with 8th Street North.

Lloyd collided with Abel resulting in non-life threatening injuries of 59-year-old Suzanne Marie Abel of St. Cloud. She was taken to the St. Cloud Hospital for treatment. Both drivers said they drove through the intersection on a green light.
