Archived: St. Cloud Woman Recovering After Being Assaulted And Stabbed Friday
A 31-year-old St. Cloud woman was taken to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries after being assaulted on Friday.
St. Cloud Police Sergeant Jason Burke says officers received a call from the St. Cloud Hospital Emergency Room. They met up with the victim who told them she was assaulted with a hammer, stabbed several times and threatened with a hand gun by 31-year-old William Tell of St. Cloud. Officers also found out 29-year-old Chrishauna Monae Moore had used the victim’s credit card.
Burke says both Moore and Tell were located and arrested after working with deputies from the Stearns County Sheriff’s Department, troopers from the Minnesota State Patrol and officers from the St. Cloud Police Department. Tell and Moore are facing with charges of 1st degree, 2nd degree assault, and making terroristic threats. They were booked to the Benton Jail while awaiting for a court.
