The snow has turned into rain, soon flowers will be blooming and the smell of rain consumes the air. Spring is here and for St. John’s University that means it’s time for their annual Maple Syrup Festivals.

The events take place on both Saturday, March 28 and April 11 from 1 to 4 p.m. at St. John’s Abbey & University. The festivals include tours and sap collection, tapping demonstrations, and horse-drawn wagon rides.

There is a small fee to attend the events and it is recommended that you dress for the weather and wear boots.
