Stearns County says they are looking for people willing to serve on local government county boards or committees.

Interested candidates would work for a variety of county departments such as the Planning Commission, Board of Adjustment, Dairy Advisory Committee, Great River Regional Library Board, Public Health Task Force, Park Commission, Human Services Advisory Committee, Social Services Task Force, Emergency Planning Advisory Committee, Extension Committee and Community Corrections Advisory.

Applicants can find requirements they need to have to apply for positions they are interested in through Stearns County. The application deadline is December 8.

Appointments with qualified applicants will begin in January of 2015.
