Stearns County residents can give their input on the Minnesota Family Investment Program that deals with economic stability.

Stearns County Human Services encourages community members to share and voice their concerns about the MFIP. Minnesota Statute requires counties to have an MFIP plan to receive consolidation funds.

The goal of the plan is to provide information to the Department of Human Services on strategies to increase economic stability of low income families.

You can find a copy of the plan at https://co.stearns.mn.us/. Comments about the plan will be accepted until December 18 and they should be submitted to the Planning Coordinator, Peggy Sammons.
