Archived: Stearns County Seeking Input For Community Health Improvement Plan

The Stearns County’s Public Health Division of Human Services is asking for the public’s opinion on helping to shape and improve its Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP).

Working with Stearns County’s Public Health department, residents will be asked to help come up with goals and strategies to meet the concerns outlined in a February 2013 Community Health Assessment survey. These concerns included a lack of physical activity, alcohol usage, mental health and parenting skills.

CHIP, a five-year guide for the community to work on addressing health concerns in the area, will provide an all-inclusive guide to help improve the health of the community.

All suggestions and comments must be submitted by October 15th.

Comments can be emailed to Peggy Sammons peggy.sammons@co.stearns.mn.us. or be taken over the phone at 320-656-6017 or 1-800-450-3663 ext. 6017.

Feedback can also be mailed to Peggy Sammons, Planning Coordinator, Stearns County Human Services, PO Box 1107, St. Cloud, MN 56302.
