A crowd of united St. Cloud State University students marched across campus to show their support for diverse groups following the Crossroads Mall stabbing last weekend.

Student President Mikaela Johnson says Student Government was invited by the Somali Student Association to create a campus-wide event to help students heal. With the help of other campus organizations, they planned a unity walk that took place Tuesday evening.

Student leaders, community members and other Huskies gathered around 5 p.m. in the campus Atwood Mall to hear speakers, reflect on the weekend’s events, and walk in representation of strength.

The walk was planned to show the community that SCSU is #StCloudUnited.
