Archived: Swallows up next on MNL

The alternative folk group Swallows is coming in from The Twin Cities for the second installment of the 19th season of Monday Night Live (MNL).  Swallows takes the stage in the KVSC performance studio at 10 p.m. for a one-hour performance Monday (9/20).  You can listen to the live performance by tuning in to KVSC 88.1FM on your radio and watching the show on UTVS.

Swallows maintain an alternative folk sound with a strong influence in rock and roll–making for a very Americana sound complete with piano, acoustic guitars, cello and mellow drums. Jeff Crandall’s raspy voice adds a layer of bluesy intimacy to the quintet, making for deeply personal performances. You can get a taste of the music of Swallows by listening to our on-air push. For the complete fall lineup, visit the MNL page.
