Campus and community will come together this Thursday to take a stand against violence directed at women.

Lee Ladue from the SCSU Women’s Center says the “Take Back the Night” rally and march will start at 6:30 p.m. at Lake George in St. Cloud. Their theme this year is “imagine a world without sexual violence” The key note speaker for the night is spoken word artist Cydi Yang, who will share some original works of poetry.

At 7 p.m. there will be a march through downtown St. Cloud and the campus of St. Cloud State University. This event is sponsored by the St. Cloud State Women’s Center in cooperation with other organizations.

In case of rain, the event will be moved to Halenbeck Field house on SCSU’s campus.
