The annual Caramel Roll Ride on Lake Wobegon Trail will get rolling Saturday.

 

The ride begins in Albany and riders can choose their own route from there. Riders can go west to Freeport, north towards the Mississippi River or east towards St. Joseph.

 

Participants will be given a wrist band for refreshments and free caramel rolls as they stop at businesses along the trail.

 

All funds go to the Lake Wobegon Trail Association to continue to create enhancements along the trail, and to fund the Sanity Seven project to extend the trail to the Mississippi River in downtown St. Cloud.
