The Waite Park Public Library received a grant to help fund a project in which poems will be written on the walls of the reading garden.

The Central Minnesota Art Board says the library received $2,460 for a project called Poetry Side Walks. Poems written on the wall will represent people living in the community. The grant will help the library create an atmosphere where children and adults can relax and read without being distracted. 

CMAB supports well-planned public art works in Benton, Sherburne, Stearns and Wright counties as one of the eleven Regional Arts Councils.
