An opening reception to celebrate a new art exhibit in St. Cloud, featuring woodwork done by Minnesota artists, has been rescheduled for this week.

Turning Trees Statewide Juried Exhibition displays artwork made of at least 50% wood. Featured artists include Bill Baker, Bob Carls and Linda Ferber among others.

The original opening reception was cancelled last month because of bad weather. Now, the reception will take place from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the Paramount Gallery Saint Germain, located at 912 W. Saint Germain St. 

The exhibit is presented by the Paramount Center for the Arts, Mid-MN Association of Woodturners and the American Association of Woodturners.

All art pieces are on display in the Gallery until Jan. 15. Viewing hours are from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Wednesdays-Fridays, and 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturdays. The gallery will be closed on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve.
