The Central Minnesota Arts Board awarded legacy funds to three local artist’s organizations.

Delano Community Education received over $2,000 to fund a Copper Street Brass residency on July 26 and 27. Lake Sylvia flute Institute was awarded $3,500 for their performances coming up during Buffalo days from June 12-19. And, Promise Neighborhood of Central Minnesota was given just over $3,000 for their storytelling and book-making residency in local middle and high schools.

The CMAB says legacy funds enhance education through the arts by supporting interaction between students, community members and professional artists.
