ST. CLOUD, Minn. – St. Cloud Tech Tigers soccer hosted DeLaSalle and took a tough loss 3-1 on Saturday.

Tech started the scoring off the 1st half with a header by DeLaSalle going awry and set up Abdulahi Abdi for their only goal.

DeLaSalle responded quickly, as St. Cloud Tech goalkeeper Dane Johnson received a yellow card which set up a penalty kick for Nicholas Fjerstad to knot it up at 1.

In the 2nd half, Jibreel Khaled blew past two Tech defenders and scored off his rebound to give DeLaSalle their first lead of the day.

The dagger was put in when a Khaled corner kick set up Galen Kump for the header to make it 3-1.

St. Cloud Tech will be back in action on Tuesday as the Tigers host Willmar in the penultimate game of the regular season. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. and the game will be broadcast on 97.5 RadioX.
