Archived: Tour Tunnels At St. Cloud State University As Part of Holes Hall Farewell
St. Cloud State University Residence Hall Association is inviting students and community members to “Remember W.W. Holes Hall” Saturday.
This is also a chance for those who are interested in touring the tunnel system below the dormitory. Holes Hall will not be open, but participants can see photo displays and historical memorabilia. The event runs from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The Holes Hall dormitory is scheduled for demolition this summer.
The building was built in 1965 in honor of former St. Cloud businessman Wilbur W. Holes who represented the college on the State College Board from 1947-1958.
It was decommissioned in 2014 and has been used as a training site by area law enforcement and fire departments.
