Drivers traveling along Highway 15 in Sauk Rapids and Sartell should prepare for various traffic changes starting Monday.

The Minnesota Department of Transportation says all traffic will be driving along the northbound side of the road so crews can reconstruct the southbound lanes.

Other changes include:

• All lanes of northbound Highway 15 will remain closed between County Road 29 and Highway 10. A signed detour will direct drivers along an alternative route. 
• The ramp from southbound Highway 15 to County Road 33/Benton Drive will close. Detours will be posted. 
• Northbound Highway 15/18th Street North intersection will be restricted to right-in, right-out only.
• Southbound Highway 15/18th Street North intersection will be closed.
• The ramp from County Road 33/Benton Drive to northbound Highway 15 will open permanently.

MnDOT adds construction is part of the Highway 15 / Highway 10 resurfacing and reconstruction project scheduled to last until mid-October.
