A Sartell woman was taken to the hospital after a car accident Monday.

Stearns County Sheriff John Sanner says Sarah Lynn Jacobs rear ended another vehicle, driven by Kelly Jo McCarty, just before noon in St. Joseph. McCarty was waiting to turn from County Road 2 and continue on westbound County Road 75 when the accident happened. 

Jacobs was taken to the St. Cloud Hospital by Gold Cross Ambulance. McCarty was not hurt. 

All Care Towing assisted the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office by removing the wreckage from the road.
