Archived: Two Women Injured In Car Accident Thursday Night in St. Cloud
Two women suffered minor injuries after a car accident at the intersection of 25th Avenue North and 4th Street North Thursday evening.
The St. Cloud Police Department says that a vehicle driven by 58-year-old Raymond Larsen of Sauk Rapids was driving southbound on 25th Avenue North nearing 4th Street North. A vehicle driven by 24-year-old Samantha Sanchez of Sartell was in the westbound lane of 4th Street North stopped at the stop sign at 25th Avenue.
Police say Sanchez began to try to cross 25th Avenue North and continue westbound on 4th Street and pulled out in front of Larsen’s oncoming vehicle. Larsen’s vehicle struck Sanchez’s causing significant damage to both vehicles.
Both Sanchez and her passenger 23-year-old Melissa Kirchner of Sauk Rapids were taken to the St. Cloud Hospital for non-life threatening injuries. Sanchez was cited for failure to yield right of way.
