A woman has died in a crash Wednesday morning on Highway 55 between Eden Valley and Watkins.

State Patrol Sergeant Jesse Gabrow says just after 7:30 a.m. a van and a car collided at the intersection of County Road 34 and Highway 55. The car, driven by a 16-year-old from Watkins, was heading north on Highway 55 when it did not stop at a stop sign, hitting a van driven by a 75-year-old Florence Eleanor Daheer from Watkins. Daheer died as a result of the crash.

The 16-year-old girl and her 15-year-old female passenger received non-life threatening injuries.
