Archived: UPDATE: Autopsy Results Find Gunshot Wound Caused The Death Of Missing Foley Man

Midwest Medical Examiners have determined from preliminary autopsy results that 31-year-old Jamie Wylie of Foley, who had been missing since December 9, was the victim of a homicide.

Benton County Sheriff Brad Bennett says final autopsy results confirmed that the Foley native died of a gunshot wound.

Wylie’s body was found on Tuesday, March 25 just before 2:30 p.m. along County Road 75 between Mayhew Lake Road and East Saint Germain Street.

The investigation into Wylie’s death is ongoing.
