Shoppers are encouraged to continue on as normal after the lockdown at Crossroads Mall Thursday night.

Waite Park Police Chief Dave Bentrud says investigators have not found anything suspicious within the mall. Authorities will alert the public if information is confirmed or criminal charges pursue.

Just after 6 p.m. Thursday officers rushed to the mall, located at 4101 W. Division St., for a gun complaint. St. Cloud Sergeant Jason Burke said Thursday night that a man and woman were arguing outside the food court. During the feud, two men approached them, and one lifted his shirt to show a gun in his waistband. The gun was not pointed at the couple, no threats were made and no injuries have been reported.

At this time, police believe this was an isolated incident and nothing happened inside the mall. Bentrud adds there isn’t a pressing safety concern and encourages customers to shop as normal.
