A lockdown at Crossroads Mall Thursday was lifted at 8:26 p.m. after officers searched for suspects allegedly carrying a gun. 

On behalf of the Waite Park Police Department, St. Cloud Sergeant Jason Burke says the mall, located at 4101 W. Division St., was searched but nothing suspicious was found. 

Earlier that evening, officers rushed to the mall after a gun complaint at 6:19 p.m. Burke previously released a statement, just after 7 p.m., saying a man and woman were arguing outside the food court.

During the feud, two men approached them, and one lifted his shirt to show a gun in his waistband. The gun was not pointed at the couple, no threats were made and no injuries have been reported.

The mall was locked down as a precaution so officers could search inside for the suspects.
