Archived: UPDATE: St. Cloud Police Say Gunshot Reports Sunday Morning Related

St. Cloud police are investigating three incidents involving guns that occurred within hours of each other.

Sergeant Jason Burke says officers responded to a fight at Press Bar early Sunday where people were fighting with sticks, bottles and guns.

Burke adds there were no arrests made due to the lack of cooperation with witnesses at the scene. Three men went to a local hospital with injuries that believed to be from the fight. None of them cooperated with the police.

Officers also responded to two reports of gunshots a few hours later at the 700 Block of Washington Memorial Drive South and then at the 200 Block of 18th Avenue North.

Police say they found signs of gunshots at the two scenes but no one was reported injured.

St. Cloud Police Lieutenant Jeff Oxton released a preliminary report this afternoon saying upon further investigation both of the gunshot incidents are believed to be related and specific in nature.

No arrests have been made and no other information has been released at this time.
