St. Cloud drivers should prepare for some traffic delays Friday on Veterans Bridge due to lane closures.

The Minnesota Department of Transportation says the bridge will be reduced to one lane in both directions from 5th Avenue North to 2nd Avenue Northeast. The closure is needed so crews can work on the construction of the Beaver Island Trail.

The closure starts at 9 a.m. and will be completed at 3 p.m. Friday.
