Archived: West Fargo Man Broadsided On Highway 23 After Trying to Make U-Turn
A West Fargo, North Dakota man was taken to a hospital after a car accident on Highway 23 near St. Joseph Sunday afternoon.
The Minnesota State Patrol says the accident occurred when 19-year-old Liban Maalim was driving southbound on Highway 23 and he attempted to make a U-turn. Maalim turned in front of 52-year-old Sharon Donnay of Watkins. She was unable to stop and broadsided Maalim.
Maalim was taken to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries and Donnay received no apparent injuries.
