A woman was found dead near St. Joseph last Thursday. Stearns County Sheriff Don Gudmunson says at 4:30 p.m. walkers found the body of a 31-year-old woman on the trail. Initial results lead investigators to believe it was a suicide.

Stearns County and the Ramsey County Medical Examiner’s office are working to determine the cause. Authorities say they can’t release more details at this time but assure there is no public danger.
