The St. Cloud State women’s basketball team was swept on the road last weekend. They fell to Northern State 78-58 Friday and to MSU-Moorhead 95-69 Saturday.

The Huskies really struggled shooting the ball Friday, hitting a mere 35% of their shots from the field and just 60% of their free throws.

Saturday’s game presented a different problem as the Huskies turned the ball over 23 times which led to 34 Dragon points.

The Huskies were led individually by Amanda Christianson who tallied 29 points over the weekend.

Following the sweep the Huskies are 8-10 on the year and 6-8 in NSIC play. They return to Halenbeck Hall this weekend looking to break their three game losing streak as they host Wayne State and Augustana Friday and Saturday. Tipoff is set for 6 p.m. Friday and 4 p.m. Saturday.
