The SCSU Men’s Hockey team will welcome NCHC opponent University of Miami Red Hawks to the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center this Friday and Saturday night.

The Huskies are coming off of a split series with the North Dakota Fighting Hawks and are (13-14-1) overall and own a (7-10-1) record in the NCHC; one spot above the visiting Red Hawks whom are (9-11-6) overall and (5-7-4-2) respectively. 

This weekend the Huskies will most likely be lead by Sophomore Goalie Jeff Smith. Smith has battled hard for the starting position and lately has solidified himself as the starting goalie for Bob Motzko’s squad. The Huskies will need another strong performance from him between the pipes against the Red Hawks.

KVSC will be broadcasting both games live with coverage beginning 7:15 pm CT on Friday and at 6:45 pm CT on Saturday.
